HOW:   Entry Requirements - Doctoral Program 

A Doctoral study program is accredited as "The Theory of Artistic Creation in Prior Non-specified Disciplines", and is focused on dealing with specific problems common to art and theory. The Doctoral study program is accredited only for study in the Czech language.

Candidates may be admitted to the Doctoral study if they hold a Master's Degree from an art school of university type or another similar institution of higher education. The course of study takes 3 years, and is carried out according to an individual plan under the guidance of the instructor who is appointed by the Admissions Committee. The Doctoral study program is accredited only for study in the Czech language.

Applicants are required to submit completed application forms and a full project proposal to the Department of Study by the 30th of March of the calendar year.

The decision on acceptance into the Master's and Doctoral study programs is the responsibility of the rector. In accordance with ¤65, section1.c), and ¤67 of the law No. 111/1998 the decision must be delivered in written form within the period of 30 days from the verifying of application results and has to include justification and instruction on the possibility to submit a request for review. The ruling must to be delivered to the candidate's hand. Results for any candidate whose domicile is not known is displayed on an official notice board. The request for review of the ruling is to be submitted to the rector via the department of study within 30 days following the day of its delivery.
